Board of Directors Ethics and Fiscal & Financial Training Certificates
As required by AB1234, members of the Monterey Peninsula Airport District Board of Directors take an ethics training course every two years to educate them on the ethical standards required of any individual who works in state or local government.
Effective January 1, 2026, SB827 requires covered local agency officials to complete mandatory fiscal and financial training every two years. Officials in office prior to January 1, 2026 must complete their initial two-hour training by January 1, 2028.
