Applying For A New Badge

AOA (Airport Operations Area)

AOA badges are typically for hangar tenants and flight school students

  • Print and fill out the AOA Application form
  • NOTE:  Applicants born outside the USA require additional documentation to submit the application, please call the Badging Office at (831) 333-2314 for more information
  • The application must be signed in Section 3 by the appropriate Authorized Signatory
  • Bring the application to the Badging Office. The application will be submitted for a background check. After the results are received, you will be called to schedule a time to complete the badge process
  • When you visit the Badging Office to complete the process, be sure to bring the required forms of ID
  • Visit the Badging Office to finish the process

 

SIDA (Security Identification Display Area)

SIDA badges are typically for airport employees, ground crew, and TSA agents

  • Print and fill out the SIDA Application form
  • NOTE:  Applicants born outside the USA require additional documentation to submit the application, please call the Badging Office for more information
  • The application must be signed in Section 3 by the appropriate Authorized Signatory
  • Call the Badging Office at (831) 333-2314 to schedule a time to be fingerprinted
  • After you have been fingerprinted, it will take 4-5 days to receive background results.  Once received, you will be called to schedule a time to complete the badging process
  • While waiting for the background results, you should view the online SIDA videos and pass the tests
  • When you visit the Badging Office to complete the process, be sure to bring the required forms of ID
  • Visit the Badging Office to finish the process
