Legal Authority: Monterey Peninsula Airport District Act (Chapter 52 of the Statues of 1941) as amended through AB 2650 (2006)
Powers and Functions: Assist in the development of airports, spaceports, and air navigation facilities.
Board of Directors: The District is governed by a five member Board who have lived and been registered voters in the District for at least thirty days prior to nomination. They are publically elected for staggered four year terms (with either two or three seats up for election during November of each even-numbered year).
Monterey Peninsula Airport District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
