The Planning and Development Department is tasked with providing development oversight of airside and landside facilities for both airfield operations and all infrastructure on Airport owned property .
The Airport uses a 20-year planning horizon that provides the framework necessary to guide possible future airport development that will cost-effectively satisfy aviation demand, while considering potential environmental and socioeconomic issues.
The goal of the targeted development is to optimize capital assets in order to maintain quality service at reasonable costs and to remain competitive, environmentally sustainable, and economically self-sufficient.
See below for a list of airport projects currently in progress.
